I often catch my self saying things my dad said to me as a child.
A memory I think about often..
My dad catching me as I was going head first into a DEEP fishing spot.
I had dropped my fishing rod... He pulled me back and said you can replace the fishing rod, but I can't get another you.
He taught me how to play Ironman on a guitar, he taught me it's never to late to eat rice crispy even at 12pm!
We will miss you and hold our memories close. ♥

I was shocked by the profoundly sad news of the passing of Tom - we knew each other well in high school, but drifted apart after graduation. I heard little bits and pieces of his journey through life from our mutual friend Tony - I too recall Tom and a positive, upbeat and enjoyable person to be around.

Oh Tom, you know I'm going to miss you to pieces. Took me a few years, but underneath that grumpy grouchy exterior I found a kind, sweet, caring and very intelligent man. My condolences to Gigi, Connor, Jasmine and the rest of your family.

When I think of Tom, his wit and humour are the first things that come to mind. Tom always had a funny story to tell, and with a great delivery. Rest in Peace Buddy.

When i first started to think of our friendship, a few "often told" stories came to mind. Yes some challenging and some outright strange and some were hilarious. But you know of all the times i think of Tom, it was honest! feelings were real, times were different and laughs were abundant. As i think of that time i also start to think of the other people of that time in our lives, Many we don't see or talk to (except on facebook) until something like "Tom's passing" happens. Till we meet again trusted Friend, you will be missed.

Tom you were a very good friend in so many ways. You were always there when we needed you and had that incredible sense of humour usually followed by a laugh like no other laugh. When we weren't spending most of the night drinking coffee and playing cards and laughing. We would be up to something else making great memories. After we moved away and we're busy with our growing family's phone calls were our time to catch up and reminisce. With our last call only a few weeks ago hoping to make plans to get together soon. When Gigi called with the news of your passing, it was hard to believe and this world just wont be the same without you.
Rest In Peace Tom we will miss you
I pray for comfort for Gigi and family in the days ahead.

Tom was a wonderful friend and such a pillar of strength for me while being at the PMLodge. Many a late night I would be sick with worry and I would go outside to get some solitude. Tom would always show up and we would sit and talk...I always found that I felt better when we would part ways for the night.
Tom, thank you for that! You will forever be remembered as a good man . My thoughts and prayers go out to Gigi & family...Godspeed, my caring friend...xo

How ironic in life is it that we meet some of the kindest people when we are at the most challenging point in our lives. Tom told me but he isn't usually the first one to stretch out his hand to meet a stranger, and later thanked me for breaking the ice with him. Darlene and I encouraged him to try out the food at the lodge when we had learned that he hadn't as of yet. We had lots of good talks around the table while trying to gag the crap down, haha. I will treasure the memory of Tom till we meet on the other side.

Remembering through the years. The day you were born. Uncle Al telling your Mom and Dad ...too bad you had a bald headed baby. Uncle Al and I did not have any children at the time. So we made a big fuss over newest nephew. Uncle Al taking you for a crazy ride in his wheel barrow and you love it. Taking pictures of your first steps.
You were and always will be very special to both of us. Love you forever Tom. Will miss you more then words can say.

My sincerest condolences to the family. Although I did not know Tom really well, I do know Gigi and his son, Connor. From all the descriptions of what a wonderful man Tom was, I can see that his memory will remain in his son, Connor, who displays many of the fine attributes of his loving father.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family throughout this most difficult time of sorrow and going forth.

I have so many wonderful memories of Tom at Pleasant Point, Little Britain. He was the coolest guy around. Always fun to hang around with. Loads of adventures in puddle jumper. I last saw him about 7 years ago, when he dropped by to say Hi and we got coffee and sat down by the creek. Such a wonderful man. R.I.P.

I regret we're not able to attend and I always wish we were all living closer to each other, especially at times like these. I have fond memories of Tom and his brother and sisters. Also Uncle Bill and Aunt Carol. We lived in the same big white house for some time. Saw Tom last at my mom's celebration of life. God bless you and give you all an extra measure of strength.

I met Tom in 1985 and we became fast and close friends. We were pretty much inseparable for 85-87. He helped me through the loss of my father in 1986 and even ran my business for me while I attended to my dad and mom. We lost touch after I left Lindsay in 1988, but he reached out to me a year or so ago to advise me of his illness. We shared some funny memories of "the good ol days" and it was very nice to reconnect with Tom before he passed. You describe the man I know well...quick witted, very intelligent, and an all around good man. May you RIP ol friend...you are GBNF. Sending love and condolences to Tom`s entire family, and a hug for Gigi even though we never met...I am sure you heard some stories :) See ya again bro!
